Embodiments of the present invention relate to an open-type dish disinfection device. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the open-type dish disinfection device comprises: a dish storage unit for storing dishes; an ultraviolet irradiation device including an excimer lamp irradiating the dish storage unit with ultraviolet rays; a motion detection device detecting a person approaching the dish disinfection device; and a control unit determining whether the ultraviolet irradiation device is operated based on a detection signal transmitted from the motion sensing device. The excimer lamp emits ultraviolet rays with a UV-C wavelength of 222 nm and is composed of triple tubes. The motion detection device may be located on the front side of the dish storage unit, on one side of the upper plate of the dish storage unit, on the front side of the ultraviolet irradiation device, or on one side of the lower surface of the ultraviolet irradiation device. The dish storage unit is open to the outside.
