An objective of the present invention is to provide a cylindrical storage tank having an economical and simple support structure while exhibiting functions equivalent to those of conventional storage tanks. According to the present invention, the cylindrical storage tank comprises: an outer shell forming an inner space of the storage tank; an inner heat insulating layer provided on an inner wall of the outer shell to insulate the inner space; and a saddle part supporting the outer shell so that the storage tank is fixed thereto.
