The present invention relates to a dishwasher. The dishwasher according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a washing tub in which a washing object is accommodated; a spray arm for spraying washing water toward the washing tub; and a deodorizing device disposed in the washing tub, wherein the deodorizing device includes: a case having a space in which a deodorant is disposed and an opening portion making the space communicate with the inside of the washing tub; and a light source for radiating ultraviolet light toward the deodorant to change the deodorant in a gas phase or a liquid phase. The ultraviolet light irradiated from the light source changes the deodorant into a liquid phase and a gas phase so as to supply the liquid-phased and the gas-phased deodorant into the washing tub, thereby improving deodorization efficiency. 본 발명은 식기세척기에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 식기세척기는, 세척대상이 수용되는 세척조; 상기 세척조를 향해 세척수를 분사하는 분사암; 및 상기 세척조 내에 배치되는 제취장치를 포함하고, 상기 제취장치는, 내부에 제취제가 배치되는 공간이 형성되고, 상기 공간과 상기 세척조 내부를 연통시키는 개구부가 형성된 케이스; 및 상기 제취제를 향해 자외선 빛을 조사하여 상기 제취제를 기상 또는 액상으로 상변화시키는 광원을 포함하여, 광원에서 조사된 자외선 빛이 제취제를 액상과 기상으로 상변화시킴으로써, 세척조 내부에 액상 및 기상의 제취제가 공급되어 제취효율이 향상되는 장점이 있다.
