The present invention relates to a measuring jig device, which can detect a change in color due to charging of a battery or detect a discharging operation resulting from movement of a load device consuming the power of the battery, thereby measuring the charging and discharging operation time of the battery, and a method for measuring the characteristics of charging and discharging thereof. The measuring jig device may comprise: a measurement jig for detecting a change in color of light in a charging mode and detecting a discharging operation in an operating mode; a mode selection unit for selecting the charging mode or the operating mode; a start and stop switch for selecting start or stop of the charging mode or the operating mode; a teaching matching unit for setting a color to be detected through the measurement jig through a teaching button, and turned on if the set color and the color detected through the measurement jig match each other; a timer for counting a charging time in the charging mode or counting an operating time in the operating mode; and a control unit for controlling the detecting operation of the measurement jig according to the charging mode or operating mode selected through the mode selection unit. 본 발명은, 배터리의 충전에 따른 색 변화를 감지하거나, 배터리의 전원을 소모하는 부하 장치의 움직임에 따른 방전 동작을 감지하여, 배터리의 충전 및 방전 동작 시간을 측정할 수 있도록 하는, 측정 지그 장치 및 그것의 충전 및 동작 특성 측정 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 측정 지그 장치는, 충전 모드 시 광의 색상 변화를 감지하고, 동작 모드 시 방전 동작을 감지하는 측정 지그; 상기 충전 모드 또는 상기 동작 모드를 선택하기 위한 모드 선택부; 상기 충전 모드 또는 상기 동작 모드의 시작 또는 정지를 선택하는 시종 스위치; 상기 측정 지그를 통해 검출할 색상(Color)을 티칭 버튼을 통해 설정하고, 설정된 색상과 상기 측정 지그를 통해 검출된 색상이 일치하는 경우에 점등되는 티칭 매칭부; 상기 충전 모드 시 충전 시간을 계수하거나, 상기 동작 모드 시 동작 시간을 계수하는 타이머; 및 상기 모드 선택부를 통해 선택된 상기 충전 모드 또는 상기 동작 모드에 따라 상기 측정 지그의 감지 동작을 제어하는 제어부를 포함할 수 있다.
