A transport apparatus including wheels includes an upright frame, a handle frame, a wheel mount unit, a confinement assembly and a releasing mechanism. The handle frame is rotatable between first and second positions. The wheel mount unit has a wheel and is rotatable relative to a standing frame to change a direction of a wheel shaft. The confinement assembly is formed to be confined with the wheel mount unit to be rotatable with respect to the standing frame, and the wheel mount unit is formed to release the wheel mount unit to be rotatable with respect to the standing frame to change the direction of the wheel shaft. The releasing mechanism includes a first part provided on the standing frame and connected to the confinement mechanism, and a second part held together with the handle frame, wherein the second part is formed to be movable toward and away from the first part together with the handle frame while the handle frame is being rotated between the first and second positions.
