Summary: | The present invention relates to a method for producing a tomato plant with increased resistance to a tomato yellow leaf curl virus by using gene editing, and a tomato plant produced thereby and, more specifically, to a method for producing a tomato plant with increased resistance to a tomato yellow leaf curl virus by using gene editing, which comprises the steps of: introducing DNA and endonuclease protein which encode a guide RNA specific to a target sequence of a tomato-derived solanum lycopersicumTy-5 (SlPelo) gene into a cell of the tomato plant to edit genome; and re-differentiating the tomato plant cell where the genome is edited into the tomato plant.
본 발명은 유전자 교정을 이용한 토마토황화잎말림바이러스(Tomato Yellow Leaf Curl Virus)에 대한 저항성이 증가된 토마토 식물체의 제조방법 및 상기 제조방법에 의해 제조된 토마토 식물체에 관한 것으로, 더욱 상세하게는 토마토 유래 SlPelo (Solanum lycopersicum Ty-5) 유전자의 표적 염기서열에 특이적인 가이드 RNA(guide RNA)를 암호화하는 DNA 및 엔도뉴클레아제(endonuclease) 단백질을 토마토 식물세포에 도입하여 유전체를 교정하는 단계; 및 상기 유전체가 교정된 토마토 식물세포로부터 토마토 식물을 재분화하는 단계;를 포함하는, 토마토황화잎말림바이러스에 대한 저항성이 증가된 유전체 교정 토마토 식물체의 제조방법에 관한 것이다. |
