Summary:The present invention is to provide an optical laminate and an elliptical polarizing plate that can ensure good display performance even when viewed by tilting in at least two in-plane orthogonal directions when disposed on a light reflection layer. An optical laminate according to an embodiment has a λ/2 part having a first slow axis, and a λ/4 part having a second slow axis and stacked on the λ/2 part so that the second slow axis is in a range of about 60° with respect to the first slow axis. The Nz coefficient of the λ/2 part is about 0.5. The Nz coefficient of the λ/4 part is 0.3 or more and 0.7 or less. [과제] 광반사층 상에 배치한 경우에, 적어도 면내 직교 2방향으로 기울여 시인한 경우라도 양호한 표시 성능을 확보 가능한 광학 적층체 및 타원 편광판을 제공한다.
