The present invention relates to a method in which an intelligent supplementary service providing system operated by at least one processor provides an intelligent supplementary service to a caller terminal and a receiver terminal through which a call is connected. According to the present invention, when the caller terminal receives an INVITE message transmitted to the receiver terminal from a session control device, information of the intelligent supplementary service subscribed by the caller terminal is checked based on identification information of the caller terminal included in the INVITE message. In addition, resources for providing the intelligent supplementary service subscribed by the caller terminal are allocated. When a call media packet is received from the caller terminal as the caller terminal and the receiver terminal are connected, a call media packet is transferred to an application server which provides the intelligent supplementary service using resources. Moreover, when received by the application server, the call media packet reflecting the intelligent supplementary service is transferred to the receiver terminal.
