Summary:A transmission device is disclosed. The transmission device includes: an encoder for generating an LDPC codeword by performing LDPC encoding; an interleaver for interleaving the LDPC codeword; and a modulator for generating a modulation symbol by modulating the interleaved LDPC codeword according to a modulation method, wherein the interleaver divides the LDPC codeword into a plurality of bit groups, rearranges the order of the plurality of bit groups in units of bit groups, classifies the rearranged plurality of bit groups according to modulation orders according to the modulation method, and performs interleaving. Therefore, excellent decoding and reception performance can be provided. 송신 장치가 개시된다. 본 송신 장치는 LDPC 부호화를 수행하여 LDPC 부호어를 생성하는 부호화부, LDPC 부호어를 인터리빙하는 인터리버 및 변조 방식에 따라 인터리빙된 LDPC 부호어를 변조하여 변조 심볼을 생성하는 변조부를 포함하며, 인터리버는 LDPC 부호어를 복수의 비트 그룹으로 구분하고, 복수의 비트 그룹의 순서를 비트 그룹 단위로 재정렬하고, 재정렬된 복수의 비트 그룹을 변조 방식에 따른 변조 차수에 따라 구분하여 인터리빙한다.
