The present invention relates to an exhaust gas treatment method using an exhaust gas treatment device. According to one embodiment, the exhaust gas treatment method comprises: a step of allowing exhaust gas to be introduced into an SCR (selective catalytic reduction) unit having an SCR layer through an inlet line; a step of generating first treatment gas, where nitrogen oxide is removed, injecting a reducer having ammonia (NH_3) into the introduced exhaust gas to treat the exhaust gas; and a step of discharging the first treatment gas to a rear end of the SCR unit through a discharge line. 본 발명은 배기가스 처리장치를 이용한 배기가스 처리방법에 관한 것이다. 한 구체예에서 상기 배기가스 처리방법은 배기가스를 유입라인을 통해 선택적 환원촉매층이 구비된 SCR(선택적 환원촉매) 유닛으로 유입하는 단계; 상기 유입된 배기가스를 암모니아(NH3)를 포함하는 환원제가 주입되어 처리하여 질소산화물이 제거된 제1 처리가스를 생성하는 단계; 및 상기 제1 처리가스를 SCR 유닛의 후단에 연결된 배출라인을 통해 배출하는 단계;를 포함한다.
