Summary: | The present invention relates to a hydrogen fuel tank with excellent hydrogen storage safety due to excellent airtightness, impact resistance and durability, and a method for manufacturing the same. According to the present invention, the hydrogen fuel tank comprises: a tank body capable of storing hydrogen therein; and a hydrogen barrier layer disposed on at least one surface of the tank body. The hydrogen barrier layer includes: a first barrier layer disposed on at least one surface of the tank body and made of a (semi)metal; and a second barrier layer disposed on the first barrier layer to fill an empty space in the first barrier layer.
