Summary:Disclosed are a method and a device for invitro diagnosis using fluorescence lifetime. An embodiment of the device comprises: a light generation unit generating excite light; a control unit controlling a path of the excite light; a detection unit outputting a first signal and a second signal having a plurality of second signal level ranges; and a signal processing unit changing the plurality of second signal level ranges to enable a fluorescence signal of a sample to be a saturation value or less by using the first and second signals. The first signal is a signal converted by detecting the excite light, and the second signal is the signal converted by detecting a fluorescence photon generated by radiating the excite light to the sample. 실시예는, 여기광을 발생하는 광 생성부; 상기 여기광의 경로를 조절하는 조절부; 제1 신호 및 복수의 제2 신호레벨 범위를 갖는 제2 신호를 출력하는 감지부; 및 상기 제1 신호 및 상기 제2 신호를 이용하여 시료의 형광신호가 포화값 이하가 되도록 상기 복수의 제2 신호레벨 범위를 변경하는 신호처리부;를 포함하고, 상기 제1 신호는 상기 여기광을 감지하여 변환된 신호이고, 상기 제2 신호는 상기 여기광이 상기 시료에 조사되어 생성된 형광 광자를 감지하여 변환된 신호인 형광수명을 이용한 체외진단 방법 및 장치를 개시한다.
