Disclosed is an invention for an electric steering apparatus for a vehicle. The disclosed electric steering apparatus for the vehicle comprises: a housing unit having a shaft installation unit and a worm wheel installation unit communicating with the shaft installation unit therein; a worm shaft unit installed on the shaft installation unit; a worm wheel unit installed inside the worm wheel installation unit and engaged with the worm shaft unit; an anti-rattle bearing unit connected to one end part of the worm shaft unit and rotationally supporting the worm shaft unit; and an anti-rattle unit which surrounds the anti-rattle bearing unit, is movably installed on the shaft installation unit, and adjusts a distance between the worm shaft unit and the worm wheel unit by adjusting a pressure applied to the anti-rattle bearing unit according to the moving direction.
