Summary:A battery (1) comprises at least one module (3) comprising electrical storage cells (5) and at least one compartment (23) for accommodating the at least one module (3). Each electrical storage cell (5) has a nominal thickness (E0). At least one of transverse walls (31, 32) of the compartment is made of an elastic material. When the module (3) is incorporated into the compartment (23), the transverse walls (31, 32) apply, on the module (3), a compressive force suitable to hold the electrical storage cells (5) substantially at the nominal thickness (E0) thereof. According to the present invention, the module remain in place within the compartment without other holding means. 배터리(1)는, 전기 저장 셀들(5)을 포함하는 적어도 하나의 모듈(3) 및 상기 적어도 하나의 모듈(3)을 수용하기 위한 적어도 하나의 격실(23)을 포함하고, 각각의 전기 저장 셀(5)은, 공칭 두께(E0)를 갖고; 상기 격실의 횡방향 벽들(31, 32) 중 적어도 하나가, 탄성 재료로 이루어지고; 모듈(3)이 격실(23) 내에 결합될 때, 상기 횡방향 벽들(31, 32)은, 전기 저장 셀들(5)을 실질적으로 그들의 공칭 두께(E0)로 유지하기에 적절한 압축력을 상기 모듈(3) 상에 인가한다.
