Summary:Provided are an electrode, a lithium battery including the same, and a manufacturing method thereof. The electrode comprises: an electrode active material layer which includes: an electrode active material and a binder; an electrode current collector which is arranged on one surface of the electrode active material layer or between both surfaces; and an intermediate layer which is arranged between the electrode active material layer and the electrode current collector. When measurement is performed with a surface and interfacial measuring analysis system (SAICAS), the electrode active material layer has 300 % or less of a change rate of vertical relative force (F_VR) depending on a depth from a first point spaced apart from a surface of the electrode active material layer by 5 % to a second point spaced apart from a surface of the electrode current collector by 5 % for the total thickness of the electrode active material layer. The present invention can improve cycle characteristics of the lithium battery. 전극활물질 및 바인더를 포함하는 전극활물질층; 상기 전극활물질층의 일면 상에 또는 양면 사이에 배치되는 전극집전체; 및 상기 전극활물질층과 상기 전극집전체 사이에 배치되는 중간층을 포함하며, 상기 전극활물질층이, SAICAS(surface and Interfacial Measuring Analysis System) 측정 시에, 상기 전극활물질층 전체 두께에 대하여 상기 전극활물질층의 표면으로부터 5% 이격된 제1 지점으로부터 상기 전극집전체의 표면으로부터 5% 이격된 제2지점까지의 깊이에 따른 수직 방향 상대 결착력(FVR, Vertical Relative Force)의 변화율이 300% 이하인, 전극, 이를 포함하는 리튬전지 및 전극 제조방법이 제공된다.
