The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a functional mask, and to a mask using the same, wherein the method further includes: outer left and right members having ear hooks formed on the left and right sides of a lycra having superior flexibility; and inner left and right members coupled to the outer left and right members to form a mask, and made of a nonwoven fabric or the like formed to correspond to the shape of the outer left and right members, wherein the outer left and right members are made of a lycra having superior flexibility, so as to be freely worn regardless of the size of the nose, mouth and the like of the face of people of all ages and genders, and fine dust, dust, and various harmful viruses in the air are completely removed using the outer left and right members and the inner left and right members to enable a wearer of the mask to breathe purified air. 본 발명은 유연성이 우수한 라이크라(lycra)로 형성된 좌·우측에 귀에 거는 걸이공을 갖는 외피좌·우측부재와, 이 외피좌·우측부재를 결합하여 마스크를 만들고 내부에 외피좌·우측부재의 형상과 대응되게 형성되는 부직포 등으로 만든 내피좌·우측부재를 더 구성하여 유연성이 우수한 라이크라로 제조된 외피좌·우측부재로 남녀노소의 얼굴의 코 및 입 등의 크기에 상관없이 자유롭게 착용할 수 있고, 외피좌·우측부재 및 내피좌·우측부재로 공기중의 미세먼지, 분진 및 각종 유해한 바이러스를 완벽히 제거하여 마스크 착용자에게 정화된 공기를 호흡하도록 한 기능성 마스크제조방법 및 그 마스크에 관한 것이다.
