The present invention relates to an electronic device for providing skin care and a method thereof. To this end, the electronic device for providing skin care according to one embodiment of the present invention obtains an image of at least a part of a body of a user, thereby obtaining skin care information corresponding to the part of the body of the user. In addition, the electronic device can generate a graphic guide corresponding to the contour of the part of the body based on the obtained skin care information and display the graphic guide at a location corresponding to the contour of the part of the body.
