Summary:In the present disclosure, provided are an electronic device and a control method thereof. The electronic device of the present disclosure includes: a communication unit; and a processor receiving information from a display device among a plurality of display devices through the communication unit, identifying whether a preset event has occurred for an advertising campaign provided to the display device based on the received information, and transmitting information on a new advertisement campaign to the display device through the communication unit to update the advertisement campaign by the display device, when identifying that the preset event has occurred. 본 개시에서는 전자 장치 및 그 제어 방법이 제공된다. 본 개시의 전자 장치는 통신부 및 통신부를 통해 복수의 디스플레이 장치 중 디스플레이 장치로부터 정보를 수신하고, 수신된 정보에 기초하여 디스플레이 장치에 제공된 광고 캠페인에 대해 기설정된 이벤트가 발생하였는지를 식별하고, 기설정된 이벤트가 발생된 것으로 식별되면, 디스플레이 장치가 광고 캠페인을 업데이트하도록, 신규 광고 캠페인에 대한 정보를 통신부를 통해 디스플레이 장치로 전송하는 프로세서를 포함할 수 있다.
