Summary:The present invention is a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating vascular dementia containing, as an active ingredient, neural progenitor cells prepared by inducing differentiation by culturing human pluripotent stem cells (hPSCs) in a medium for inducing differentiation. The pharmaceutical composition is formulated for transplantation through intravenous administration to restore cognitive function disorders, reduce neuroinflammatory responses, and restore nerve fiber bundles. 본 발명은 인간 전분화능 줄기세포(hPSC, human Pluripotent Stem Cell)를 분화 유도용 배지에서 배양하여 분화 유도시켜 마련되는 신경전구세포(Neural Progenitor cell)를 유효성분으로 포함하는 혈관성 치매 예방 또는 치료용 약학 조성물로서, 정맥 내 투여를 통한 이식용으로 제형화되어 인지기능의 장애를 회복하고 신경 염증 반응의 감소 및 신경 섬유 다발의 회복이 이루어질 수 있도록 한다.
