The present invention relates to an electronic apparatus and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the electronic device acquires information about at least one surgical tool on the basis of patient information about a surgical site of a patient and surgery of a surgeon who performs surgery on the surgical site, and controls light emission of at least one light emitting element corresponding to the position of each surgical tool on the basis of the acquired information about the at least one surgical tool to display a guide corresponding to the at least one surgical tool. Accordingly, at least one surgical tool matching with the surgeon or the surgical site of a patient is quickly provided to the surgeon, thereby reducing surgery time.
