Summary:Trace hydrogen can be removed from drying gas by manufacturing product gas that is at least substantially free of hydrogen by passing the drying gas through at least one bed of a first hopcalite catalyst at the temperature of about 0 ℃ to about 60 ℃, and the first hopcalite catalyst has a copper/manganese molar ratio of greater than 0.55. A method of the present invention compared to methods using standard hopcalite catalysts with a Cu/Mn molar ratio of 0.45 to 0.55 has increased hydrogen capacity, reduced feed and regeneration temperatures and reduced susceptibility to carbon dioxide. 미량의 수소는 약 0℃ 내지 약 60℃의 온도에서 건조 기체를 제1 홉칼라이트 촉매의 적어도 하나의 층에 통과시켜 수소가 적어도 실질적으로 없는 생성물 기체를 생성함으로써 건조 기체로부터 제거될 수 있고, 상기 제1 홉칼라이트 촉매는 0.55 초과의 구리 대 망간의 몰비를 갖는다. 이점은 0.45 내지 0.55의 Cu/Mn 몰비를 갖는 표준 홉칼라이트 촉매를 사용하는 동등한 방법 보다 수소 용량 중가, 공급물 및 재생 온도 감소 및 이산화탄소에 대한 민감성 감소를 포함한다.
