The present invention relates to an optical fiber sensor which is easy to manufacture and which has a low risk of failure, and a method for manufacturing the same. For the optical fiber sensor, a sensing head connected to an optical fiber cable covered with a tube having chemical resistance is sealed by forcibly being fitted and inserted into a cap, wherein the cap is molded by injection molding independently of the optical fiber sensor and is inserted later. To this end, the optical fiber sensor comprises: a sensing head which transmits and receives light and in which a connection member is integrally formed in a connection portion, to which an optical fiber cable is connected; a sealing member into which the optical fiber cable is inserted and which is forcibly pushed onto the outer side of the connection member of the sensing head in an interference fit manner to seal the connection member; and a cap into which the sensing head is inserted and which is forcibly pushed onto the outer side of the connection member to seal the seaming member again while covering the sensing head and part of the sealing member, wherein the cap is separately formed by injection molding. 본 발명은 내화학성을 갖는 튜브로 씌워진 광파이버케이블이 연결된 센싱헤드에 캡을 억지 끼움식으로 삽입하여 밀봉하는 것으로 캡은 광파이버센서와는 무관하게 독립적으로 사출 성형되어 추후 삽입되는 것이므로 제조방법이 용이하고 불량 발생 우려가 낮은 광파이버센서 및 그 제조방법에 관한 것이다. 이를 위해 광파이버센서는 광의 투광 또는 수광이 이루어지고, 광파이버케이블이 연결되는 연결부에 연결부재가 일체로 형성된 센싱헤드, 상기 광파이버케이블이 삽입되고, 상기 센싱헤드의 연결부재 외측에 억지 끼움식으로 강제 삽입되어 상기 연결부재를 밀봉하는 밀봉부재, 및 상기 센싱헤드가 삽입되고 상기 밀봉부재 외측에 억지 끼움식으로 강제 삽입되어 상기 센싱헤드와 상기 밀봉부재의 일부를 둘러싸면서 상기 밀봉부재를 다시 밀봉하는 별도 사출성형 된 캡을 포함한다.
