Summary:A water purifier and a control method thereof are disclosed. The water purifier according to an embodiment of the present invention may receive water extraction amount information desired by a user. An input process can be achieved by simple pressing of an operation button and a water extraction button. Input user water extraction amount information is stored in the water purifier, and the user can extract water according to the previously input user water extraction amount information by simply pressing the operation button and the water extraction button. Accordingly, user convenience may be improved.
