A beam changing method technique in a communication system is disclosed. An operating method of a terminal of the communication system comprises the following steps of: forming a virtual beam group including a first beam of a first type and a second beam of a second type, transmitted by a base station, and a plurality of beams of the first type, transmitted by relay nodes; transmitting and receiving data to and from the base station by using the first beam of the first type transmitted by the base station; and selecting a different beam in the virtual beam group to use the selected beam so as to transmit and receive the data to and from the base station when receiving signal strength of the first beam is less than a first threshold value. 통신 시스템에서 빔 변경 방법 기술이 개시된다. 통신 시스템의 단말의 동작 방법으로서, 기지국이 송신하는 제1 유형의 제1 빔, 제2 유형의 제2 빔 및 릴레이 노드들이 송신하는 상기 제1 유형의 다수의 빔들을 포함하는 가상빔 그룹을 형성하는 단계; 상기 기지국이 송신하는 상기 제1 유형의 상기 제1 빔을 사용하여 데이터를 상기 기지국에 송수신하는 단계; 및 상기 제1 빔의 수신 신호 세기가 제1 임계치 미만이 되면 상기 가상빔 그룹에서 다른 빔을 선택하여 선택한 빔을 사용하여 상기 기지국과 데이터를 송수신하는 단계를 포함하는, 단말의 동작 방법을 제공할 수 있다.
