Summary:Disclosed is a developing device equipped with: a developer carrier having a developer; a developing frame that rotatably supports the developer carrier; an end part member at one end side for supporting one end side of the developing frame in an axial direction of the developer carrier of the developer carrier; and an end part member at the other end side for supporting the other end side of the developing frame in the axial direction of the developer carrier. Each of the end part member at one end side and the end part member at the other end side is independently rotatable with respect to the developing frame. Therefore, the present invention is capable of suppressing an enlargement of the developing cartridge as a developing device. 현상제를 가지고 있는 현상제 담지체; 상기 현상제 담지체를 회전가능하게 지지하는 현상 프레임체; 상기 현상제 담지체의 상기 현상제 담지체의 축방향으로 상기 현상 프레임체의 일단측을 지지하는 일단측 단부부재; 및 상기 현상제 담지체의 축방향으로 상기 현상 프레임체의 타단측을 지지하는 타단측 단부부재를 구비한 현상장치가 개시되어 있다. 상기 일단측 단부부재와 상기 타단측 단부부재 각각은, 상기 현상 프레임체에 대하여 독립적으로 회전 가능하다.
