Disclosed are a machine for making ice of a spherical or a polyhedral shape convex upwards and downwards, and a drinking water supply apparatus and a refrigerator having the same, which have high energy efficiency and can shorten ice making time. The ice machine comprises: an upper ice making frame having an upper ice making cell of a semispherical or a semi-polyhedral shape convex upwards; a lower ice making frame having a lower ice making cell having a semispherical or a semi-polyhedral shape convex downwards, of which the middle of the bottom is opened; an evaporator cover arranged to be separated from the upper surface of the upper ice making frame by a prescribed distance to form a first refrigerant flow path in which a refrigerant cooling the upper ice making frame can flow; and a nozzle unit provided on a lower portion of the lower ice making frame, and injecting ice making water upwards from the opened middle of the bottom of the lower ice making cell. The upper ice making frame and the lower ice making frame, when coupled to each other, form an integrated ice making cell of a spherical or a polyhedral shape by combining the upper ice making cell and the lower ice making cell.
