Summary:According to an embodiment, provided is a method for determining a browsing path, which includes the steps of: setting a plurality of browsing path candidates based on touch information; calculating each polygon mesh area for the plurality of browsing path candidates; and selecting the browsing path candidate having the smallest calculated polygon mesh area from among the plurality of browsing path candidates. The embodiment has an effect of providing high-quality volumetric data to a user by selecting the browsing path and viewpoint having the small polygon mesh area. 실시예에 따른 브라우징 경로 결정 방법은 터치 정보를 기초로 복수의 브라우징 경로 후보를 설정하는 단계와, 상기 복수의 브라우징 경로 후보들에 대한 각각의 폴리곤 메쉬 면적을 산출하는 단계와, 상기 복수의 브라우징 경로 후보들 중 상기 산출된 폴리곤 메쉬 면적이 가장 작은 상기 브라우징 경로 후보를 선택하는 단계를 포함할 수 있다. 실시예는 폴리곤 메쉬 면적이 적은 브라우징 경로 및 시점을 선택함으로써, 고품질의 볼튜메트릭 데이터를 사용자에게 제공할 수 있는 효과가 있다.
