A specific implementation form is as follows. The method for identifying an update road includes: a step of obtaining a candidate update road by comparing a road area extracted based on an up-to-date satellite image and a road area extracted based on a past satellite image; a step of mapping the candidate update road on road network data according to a coordinate position of the candidate update road; a step of obtaining a user locus set corresponding to the candidate update road in a recent predetermined time slot; and a step of identifying whether the candidate update road is a real update road or not based on a matching result of the road network data and the user locus set.
