A map information distribution server utilizing a communication infrastructure is disclosed. The map information distribution server utilizing a communication infrastructure includes: a communication unit which communicates with a plurality of vehicles; a data storage unit which maintains precision map information including static map information and dynamic map information, network map information, and driving information of the plurality of vehicles; and a controller.
