The present invention relates to a wave removal apparatus using a water depth control device, wherein a wave removal function is implemented by using the water depth control device that is installed in a towing tank and controls a water depth to rapidly remove wave so as to increase utility of the tank. The wave removal apparatus using the water depth control device comprises: the towing tank for testing resistance and self-propulsion of a ship; and the water depth control and wave removal unit which is installed inside the towing tank, controls the water depth, and removes wave by rising to a water surface. The wave removal apparatus removes the wave by using the water depth control device installed in the towing tank to increase utility of the tank and remove long wave. 예인 수조에 설치되어 수심을 조절하는 수심조절장치를 이용하여 소파(wave removal) 기능을 병행함으로써 신속하게 파도를 제거하여 수조의 활용도를 높일 수 있도록 한 수심조절장치를 이용한 소파장치에 관한 것으로서, 선박의 저항/자항 시험을 위한 예인 수조 및 예인 수조의 내부에 설치되어 수심을 조절하며, 수면위로 부상하여 파도를 제거하는 수심 조절 및 소파부를 포함하여 수심조절장치를 이용한 소파장치를 구현함으로써, 예인 수조에 설치된 수심조절장치를 이용하여 파도를 제거하여 수조의 활용성을 높이고 아울러 장파도 제거하게 된다.
