In the compound having ligand L_A represented by chemical formula I, R^1 represents a mono-substituted, di-substituted or non-substituted substituent; R^2 represents a mono-substituted, di-substituted, tri-substituted, tetra-substituted or non-substituted substituent; R is selected from hydrogen, deuterium, alkyl, cycloalkyl and a combination thereof; each of R^1 and R^2 is independently selected from hydrogen, deuterium, alkyl, cycloalkyl, aryl and a combination thereof; an optional substituent adjacent to R^2 is optionally linked thereto to form a condensed ring; ligand L_A is coordinated with metal M; and ligand L_A may be linked optionally with another ligand to form a tridentate, tetradentate, pentadentate or hexadentate ligand.
