The present invention provides an organic electroluminescent device comprising: a substrate having a plurality of pixel regions defined thereon; a bank placed along the boundary of the pixel regions; a plurality of wires arranged at the boundary of the pixel regions or in the pixel regions; a thin film transistor arranged in each of the pixel regions on the substrate; an organic electroluminescent diode placed on top of the thin film transistor; a crack inhibiting pattern placed between a first metallic pattern, which is one among electrodes arranged on the wires and the thin film transistor and electrodes arranged on the organic electroluminescent diode, and a second metallic pattern, which is another one; a first insulation film interposed between the crack inhibiting pattern and the first metallic pattern below the same; and a second insulation film interposed between the crack inhibiting pattern and the second metallic pattern above the same, wherein the crack inhibiting pattern overlaps with the first metallic pattern and overlaps with the bank.
