Summary:An optical system according to the embodiment includes first to fifth lenses sequentially arranged along an optical axis from an object side to an image side direction, wherein each of the first to fifth lenses includes an object side surface and an image side surface, the size of a clear aperture of the image side of the first lens is larger than the size of the clear aperture of the object side of the first lens, and the thickness of the first lens may be thinner than that of the second lens. An embodiment of the present invention is intended to provide the optical system with improved optical properties. 실시예에 따른 광학계는 물체 측으로부터 상 측 방향으로 광축을 따라 순차적으로 배치되는 제1 내지 제5 렌즈를 포함하고, 상기 제1 내지 제5 렌즈 각각은, 물체 측 면 및 상 측 면을 포함하고, 상기 제1 렌즈의 상 측 면의 유효경(clear aperture)의 크기는 상기 제1 렌즈의 물체 측 면의 유효경의 크기보다 크고, 상기 제1 렌즈의 두께는 상기 제2 렌즈의 두께보다 얇을 수 있다.
