Summary: | There are presented a solid-state ion conductor with improved safety and stability including a compound represented by the following chemical formula 1, a method for manufacturing the same, a component for a lithium battery including the same, a negative electrode, a separator for a lithium battery, and a lithium battery. Chemical formula 1 is Li_(3a+b-(c*n))N_aCl_bX_c. In chemical formula 1, X is a negative ion having an average oxidation state of n and is -3 <= n <= -1, and is at least one of Br, I, F, O, S, or P, and 1 <= a <= 4, 1 <= b <= 3, 0 <= c <= 3, and 4.8 <= (a + b + c) <= 5.2.
