Summary: | The present invention relates to a vehicle suspension control apparatus and a vehicle suspension control method for controlling a variable damper by considering virtual tire damping. The apparatus comprises: a variable damper installed between a vehicle body and a vehicle wheel; a first acceleration sensor which is installed at each corner of the vehicle body and measures a vertical acceleration of a vehicle body corner; a second acceleration sensor which is installed on the vehicle wheel and measures a vertical acceleration of the vehicle wheel; and a controller which estimates road roughness based on the vertical acceleration of the vehicle body corner and the vertical acceleration of the vehicle wheel, calculates a virtual damping force required for tire damping based on the estimated road roughness, and controls damping force of the variable damper based on the calculated damping force required for virtual tire damping. According to the present invention, tire grip force is improved by minimizing relative velocity of the vehicle wheel and a road surface.
본 발명은 가상 타이어 댐핑을 고려하여 가변 댐퍼를 제어하는 차량 서스펜션 제어 장치 및 방법에 관한 것으로, 차체와 차륜 사이에 장착되는 가변 댐퍼, 상기 차체의 각 코너에 장착되어 차체 코너 수직가속도를 측정하는 제1 가속도 센서, 상기 차륜에 각각 장착되어 차륜 수직가속도를 측정하는 제2 가속도 센서, 및 상기 차체 코너 수직가속도 및 상기 차륜 수직가속도를 기반으로 노면 거칠기를 추정하고, 추정된 노면 거칠기에 근거하여 가상 타이어 댐핑 요구 댐핑력을 산출하고, 산출된 가상 타이어 댐핑 요구 댐핑력을 기반으로 상기 가변 댐퍼의 댐핑력을 조절하는 제어기를 포함한다. |
