Summary: | The present invention relates to a composition for inhibiting the biofilm formation of pathogenic fungi containing medium-chain fatty acids as an active ingredient. More specifically, the present invention provides a composition for inhibiting the biofilm formation and mycelial growth of pathogenic fungi, which can be used as a novel antifungal agent, by confirming that the composition comprising a medium-chain fatty acid similar to farnesol as an active ingredient inhibits the biofilm formation and mycelial growth of pathogenic fungi.
