The present invention relates to a balance arm and a balance arm system. The present invention provides a balance arm and a balance arm system comprising the same, wherein the balance arm includes: a lockable gas spring providing a force to stop the balance arm and having a piston rod which can be depressed and released; and a rod control module for externally controlling the pressing and releasing of the piston rod.
