Summary:A display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a display panel including a display area; a cover panel disposed on the rear surface of the display panel and including an opening part corresponding to one area of the display panel; a fingerprint sensor disposed on the rear surface of the display panel to be positioned within the opening part of the cover panel and including a sensor layer; and a reinforcing member disposed on the rear surface of the fingerprint sensor. The reinforcing member includes a sidewall that surrounds at least one region of the sensor layer while in contact with the rear surface of the fingerprint sensor, and the bottom surface extended from the sidewall and spaced apart from the sensor layer. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 의한 표시 장치는, 표시 영역을 포함하는 표시 패널; 상기 표시 패널의 배면에 배치되며, 상기 표시 패널의 일 영역에 대응하는 개구부를 포함하는 커버 패널; 상기 커버 패널의 개구부 내에 위치하도록 상기 표시 패널의 배면에 배치되며, 센서층을 포함하는 지문 센서; 및 상기 지문 센서의 배면에 배치된 보강 부재를 포함한다. 상기 보강 부재는, 상기 지문 센서의 배면에 접촉되면서 상기 센서층의 적어도 일 영역을 둘러싸는 측벽과, 상기 측벽으로부터 연장되며 상기 센서층으로부터 이격된 바닥면을 포함한다.
