An image forming device comprises: a cartridge equipped with a position determination part; and a device main body on which the cartridge is mounted in a mounting direction. The device main body is equipped with a position determination part and a regulation part. The position determination part position-determines the cartridge by engaging the position determination part. The regulation part is installed in an upstream side more than that of the positioning part in the mounting direction. The cartridge is equipped with the regulation part installed in the upstream side more than that of the positioning part in the mounting direction. The position determination part engages with the regulation part before engaging with the position determination part, and regulates a movement of the cartridge in a direction orthogonal to the mounting direction.
