Summary: | Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a connector connected to a photonic integrated circuit (POB) through an optical waveguide and an interface configured to redirect light between photonic integrated circuits. The interface includes two-dimensional dispersed wavelength plates (TDWs) having a plurality of layers of p-doped and n-doped silicon. The TDWs are configured to change a dielectric constant on a two-dimensional location on the TDWs so that the received light is redirected on the two-dimensional location.
본 개시에 설명된 예시적인 구현들은 광 도파로를 통하여 인쇄 광학 보드 (POB) 에 접속된 커넥터와 광 집적 회로 (PIC) 사이에서 광을 리디렉팅하도록 구성되는 인터페이스에 대하여 개시되며, 인터페이스는 p-도핑 및 n-도핑된 실리콘의 복수의 층들을 갖는 2차원 분산형 파장판들 (TDWs) 을 포함하고, TDW들은 TDW들 상에서 2차원 로케이션에서 유전 상수를 변경하게 구동되도록 구성되어, 수신된 광이 2차원 로케이션에서 리디렉팅되게 한다. |
