The objective of the present invention is to provide a holder for a portable tool having a configuration capable of preventing the holder from falling from a belt-shaped body having the holder mounted thereon. To this end, the holder for a portable tool of the present invention comprises: a holder body (2) which has a portable tool holding portion (4) for detachably holding the portable tool; and a fitting member (3) which is fitted into a first opening (5d) and a second opening (5e) that have been formed in the holder body (2) and is engaged with and held by the holder body (2). Furthermore, the holder for a portable tool is held by the belt-shaped body having the holder mounted thereon (A) by surrounding the periphery thereof with the holder body (2) and the fitting member (3) that is engaged with and held by the holder body (2).
