The present invention relates to a film trimming apparatus for manufacturing lead tabs to trim an insulation film at even intervals on both sides of the metal lead. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the film trimming apparatus comprises: a lead tab holding unit having a pair of lower trimming cutters installed on the upper part and holding a lead tab formed by fusing an insulation film to a metal lead; a trimming aligning unit including a pair of alignment bars installed in the lead tab holding unit to be spaced apart from each other and holding both sides of the metal lead while allowing the pair of alignment bars to come in contact with both sides of the metal lead, respectively, so that the position of the metal lead is aligned to place both ends of the insulation film on the pair of lower trimming cutters; and a film trimming unit including a pair of lower trimming cutters and a pair of upper trimming cutters and trimming both ends of the insulation film along a trimming line while the pair of upper trimming cutters fall toward the pair of lower trimming cutters, wherein the trimming line is a virtual line spaced apart from both sides of the metal lead by the thickness of the pair of alignment bars. 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 리드탭 제작용 필름 트리밍 장치는, 상부에 한 쌍의 하부트리밍커터가 설치되고, 메탈리드에 절연필름이 융착되어 형성된 리드탭이 거치되는 리드탭 거치부; 상호 간에 이격되어 리드탭 거치부에 설치된 한 쌍의 얼라인바가 구비되고, 한 쌍의 얼라인바가 메탈리드의 양쪽 측면과 각각 접촉되면서 메탈리드의 양쪽 측면을 잡아, 절연필름의 양단이 한 쌍의 하부트리밍커터에 놓이게, 메탈리드의 위치를 정렬하는 트리밍얼라인부; 및 한 쌍의 하부트리밍커터와 한 쌍의 상부트리밍커터가 구비되고, 한쌍의 상부트리밍커터가 한쌍의 하부트리밍커터를 향해 낙하되면서, 트리밍라인을 따라 절연필름의 양단을 트리밍하는 필름트리밍부를 포함하고, 트리밍라인은 한 쌍의 얼라인바의 두께만큼 메탈리드의 양쪽 측면으로 이격된 가상의 라인인 것이 바람직하다.
