Summary:According to an embodiment, a power conversion system comprises: an inverter comprising a three-phase circuit having a plurality of power semiconductor elements and supplying driving power to a motor according to an applied torque command; and a controller that predicts the maximum temperature of the inverter based on a measured temperature of any one of the plurality of power semiconductor elements and a phase current of the motor and actively limits the torque command according to the predicted maximum temperature of the inverter. 일 실시 예에 의한 전력변환 시스템은, 복수개의 전력 반도체 소자가 구비된 3상 회로로 구성되고, 인가된 토크 지령에 따라 모터로 구동 전력을 공급하는 인버터; 및 상기 복수개의 전력 반도체 소자 중 어느 하나의 실측온도와 상기 모터의 상전류를 기반으로 상기 인버터의 최대 온도를 예측하고, 예측된 상기 인버터의 최대 온도에 따라 상기 토크 지령을 능동적으로 제한하는 제어기;를 포함할 수 있다.
