Summary:Disclosed is an image projection device including a light output unit for projecting an image, a camera, a plurality of sensors, and a processor. The processor, based on sensing data received through the plurality of sensors, identifies a distance between each of the plurality of sensors and the projection surface, provides a user interface for guiding the direction adjustment of the image projection device when the difference between the identified distances is greater than or equal to a preset threshold, identifies the shape of the projected image by photographing the image projected on the projection surface through the camera, when the difference between the identified distances is less than a preset threshold, and controls a light output unit to project the corrected image based on the identified shape. 영상을 투사하기 위한 광 출력부, 카메라, 복수의 센서, 프로세서를 포함하는 영상 투사 장치가 개시된다. 프로세서는, 복수의 센서를 통해 수신된 센싱 데이터를 기반으로, 복수의 센서 각각과 투사면 간의 거리를 식별하고, 식별된 거리들 간의 차이가 기설정된 임계 값 이상인 경우, 영상 투사 장치의 방향 조정을 안내하기 위한 유저 인터페이스를 제공하고, 식별된 거리들 간의 차이가 기설정된 임계 값 미만인 경우, 카메라를 통해 투사면에 투사된 영상을 촬영하여 투사된 영상의 형상을 식별하고, 식별된 형상에 기초하여 보정된 영상을 투사하도록 광 출력부를 제어한다.
