The present invention relates to use of pyronaridine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and/or artemisinin or a derivative thereof for prevention or treatment of epidemic RNA virus infection diseases. Particularly, the present invention relates to a pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating epidemic RNA virus infection diseases, particularly corona virus infection-19 (COVID-19), including a therapeutically effective amount of pyronaridine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof and/or artemisinin or a derivative thereof together with a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. 본 발명은 피로나리딘(pyronaridine) 또는 그의 약제학적으로 허용가능한 염, 및/또는 알테미시닌(artemisinin) 또는 그의 유도체를 유행성 RNA 바이러스 감염 질환의 예방 또는 치료에 사용하기 위한 용도에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 치료학적 유효량의 피로나리딘 또는 그의 약제학적으로 허용가능한 염, 및/또는 알테미시닌 또는 그의 유도체를, 약제학적으로 허용되는 담체와 함께 포함하는, 유행성 RNA 바이러스 감염 질환, 특히 코로나바이러스감염증-19(COVID-19)의 예방 또는 치료에 사용하기 위한 약제학적 조성물에 관한 것이다.
