Summary: | The present invention relates to a cathode material, which includes: a first cathode active material, which is composed of large-particle diameter particles having a large average particle diameter; and a second cathode active material, which is composed of small-particle diameter particles having a small average particle diameter, wherein the first cathode active material and the second cathode active material are each independently a lithium transition metal oxide in which the molar ratio of nickel among transition metals is 80 mol% or more, and satisfy the formula (1). Formula (1): 0 <{(B-A)/B}× 100 <= 10. In formula (1), A is a particle strength value of the first cathode active material, and B refers to a particle strength value of the second cathode active material. Accordingly, life characteristics can be further improved.
