An electronic device for an audio according to various embodiments of the present invention comprises: a communication circuit; and a processor operatively connected to the communication circuit, wherein the processor may be set to generate a communication link with an electronic device for a first audio using the communication circuit, and change from the electronic device for audio serving as the master to the electronic device for the first audio when it is confirmed that a remaining battery level of the electronic device for the audio is smaller than the remaining battery level of the electronic device for the first audio, and a difference between the remaining battery level of the electronic device for the audio and the remaining battery level of the electronic device for the first audio is equal to or greater than a threshold value. In addition, various embodiments may be provided.
