The present invention relates to a payment system for an occurring cost which is related to vehicle driving, and a method therefor. According to the present invention, a vehicle-driving-related payment server includes: an input unit for receiving vehicle recognition information; a memory having stored therein a program for processing payment for a cost related to vehicle driving, according to the vehicle recognition information; and a processor for running the program, wherein the processor transmits payment push for the cost related to vehicle driving, confirms whether an application is installed on a valid mobile terminal, and processes a payment process for the cost related to vehicle driving. Therefore, it is possible to pay a fee without purchasing/installing a separate high-pass terminal. 본 발명은 차량 주행과 관련하여 발생되는 비용에 대한 결제 시스템 및 그 방법에 관한 것이다. 본 발명에 따른 차량 주행 관련 결제 서버는 차량 인식 정보를 수신하는 입력부와, 차량 인식 정보에 따라 차량 주행 관련 비용에 대한 결제를 처리하는 프로그램이 저장된 메모리 및 프로그램을 실행시키는 프로세서를 포함하고, 프로세서는 차량 주행 관련 비용에 대한 결제 푸쉬를 전송하고, 애플리케이션이 정당한 휴대단말에 설치되었는지 여부를 확인하고, 차량 주행 관련 비용에 대한 결제 과정을 처리하는 것을 특징으로 한다.
