The present invention relates to a secondary battery including: an electrode assembly including a plurality of unit electrode plates having a pair of uncoated unit tabs on one side thereof, and a plurality of separators respectively disposed between the unit electrode plates; and a current collection plate welded to the uncoated unit tabs, wherein the current collection plate is welded while the pair of uncoated unit tabs are bent in opposite directions. According to the present invention, since a pair of uncoated unit tabs are bent in different directions and welded to the current collection plate, complementary welding is possible, thereby securing electrical stability. 본 발명의 실시예는 이차전지에 관한 것으로, 일측에 한 쌍의 무지부 탭이 형성된 복수의 단위 전극판, 상기 단위 전극판의 사이에 각각 배치되는 복수의 세퍼레이터를 구비하는 전극 조립체; 및 상기 무지부 탭에 용접되는 집전판을 포함하고, 상기 한 쌍의 무지부 탭이 서로 반대 방향으로 절곡된 상태에서 상기 집전판이 용접되는 것이 특징이다. 본 발명에 따르면, 한 쌍의 무지부 탭을 서로 다른 방향으로 절곡해 집전판과 용접하므로 상호 보완적인 용접이 가능해 전기적 안정성을 확보하는 효과가 있다.
