Summary:The present invention relates to a belt-driven breakage detection device for a machine tool and a detection method, which can detect in real time whether a connection part is broken or overloaded and whether a driving part operates normally by using a current load value of an actuator according to the type of the driving part driven by the actuator and the operating state of the actuator without adding a separate device such as a detection switch, and prevent collisions and machining defects of the driving part by generating an alarm when the connection part is broken or overload, thereby improving the stability and reliability of the machine tool, and minimizing unnecessary configuration to reduce the manufacturing cost by promoting the miniaturization of the machine tool. 본 발명은 감지스위치와 같은 별도의 장치 추가 없이 엑츄에이터가 구동시키는 구동부종류와 엑츄에이터의 작동상태에 따른 엑츄에이터의 현재 부하값에 의해 연결부의 파단유무와 과부하유무 및 구동부의 정상작동 여부를 실시간으로 감지하고 연결부의 파단 또는 과부하 발생시에 알람을 발생에 따라 구동부의 충돌과 가공불량을 방지하고, 공작기계의 안정성과 신뢰성을 향상하며, 불필요한 구성을 최소화하여 공작기계의 소형화를 도모하여 제조비용을 절감할 수 있는 공작기계용 벨트구동 파단 감지장치 및 감지방법에 관한 것이다.
